Pwc salary structure? Benefits
Urgent
I know Liver King is out there but my roommate has been living by his “9 ancestral tenets” and it basically changed his life. Anyone else that follows something similar seen benefits? Seems like he’s rooted on well being and staying connected with the world around you. Even if you think he’s weird his YouTube video is well put together.

Probably need to add a couple K if you want a mortgage also.
This is pretty cool
LA is probably more affordable than Bay Area but the best clients are in the Bay. Life hack: if you plan on living in California, no one says Cali or San Fran ;) SF folks will def judge
Yessssss. 🙌🏼
I live in San Diego. Make 80k a year and save 2500 a month.
Yea- one would have to live with their parents, drive one of your parents old cars that is completely paid off, be on your parents phone plan, internet, cable and insurance plans
CA isn’t that dramatic, guys .. I lived in SF for my entire staff - senior years. By the time I made $80k, I was banking about 1500 per month (living with roommates- kept rent low at about $1300/month). I was even able to buy an investment property in a LCOL city ($500k).
Unfortunately, I’ve kept that savings rate the same even though my salary is now $125k, which is totally my bad, I know 😳. But that’s called lifestyle creep. Don’t be like me.
I just moved out within the year. Not that hard finding $1200-1500 per bedroom in SF or east bay
Bay Area is bae
Where do you live now?
Sacramento
Don’t forget to factor in high state taxes, $4/gal for gas, higher grocery and restaurant bills, $500/yr for car registration, etc. It is very hard to save money in CA unless you spend the first several years of your working life living somewhere for free and use the savings as a down payment on real estate. Don’t fall into the trap thinking “it isn’t that bad”. It is.
I live in Cali and it isn’t that bad if you’re smart with money. And $500/yr for car registration? Lmao
Philly
You’d probably need to live in a cave to be able to save in Cali (this is from what I hear, I don’t actually live in Cali)
living in LA now, need a roommate/spouse to save anything.
So is it a good idea for auditors to go to the Bay?
No
Sacramento is way more affordable than the Bay
