I don’t know even know what I’m good at anymore.
Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Give Claude (or ChatGPT) a copy of your resume and a job listing that interests you. Ask it how to position your current skill set so it will be relevant to the new employer.
Hey, if AI is taking our jobs, the least it can do is help us find new ones!
Four layoffs isn't a sign of your ability; it’s a sign that you’ve been working in an industry that’s currently obsessed with 'efficiency' over long-term brand building.
Man, I relate way too hard on the layoff rollercoaster. Digital marketing feels like it shifts under your feet every six months and sometimes it drains you completely. I got axed last year after a "department restructure" and for a while, it just killed my self-confidence for switching it up.
Something that helped me pivot was sitting down with someone from outside the social world to figure out what my skills actually translate to. Turns out half the stuff we do (campaign management, analytics, content, community building, data reporting) fits into other roles like product marketing and even customer success. But honestly, the job titles pigeonholing thing is so real. It’s like the ATS bots only want to see one perfect buzzword instead of your whole experience.
I started running my resume through those scanners like ResumeJudge, Resume Worded, and sometimes Jobscan just to see which keywords were being picked up and what wasn’t. The amount of times a tiny title tweak or changing how I described campaigns bumped my "match" score was eye opening. Might be worth checking how your resume parses, you’d be surprised what counts for what.
What non-social roles are you looking at? Noticed a TON of digital folks going into partnerships and lifecycle marketing this year. Maybe worth a look if you want to pivot but not ditch all your experience.

I am sorry you are going through that although if you have been laid off 4 times then it is time you pivot to a different industry and/or job type.
When you are looking for work I would look at job skills that are transferable and make sure you are customizing your resume to the job you are applying to with the keywords and phrases to get passed the AI / ATS being used to filter resumes.
