I have been working in EY India for past 5 years in the cyber security team (Sconn year 1) and recently cracked interview for Deloitte UK. They are offering me 42k fixed with Sconn year 1 designation for London location Can someone provide me the average bracket for Sconn in Deloitte London and maybe help me get an idea of monthly expenses. I am a bachelor and would probably live in a studio / share with a roommate

Bro, how did you managed to setup an interview with Deloitte UK? Do you already have a work visa? 42k sounds cool though, I have few colleagues living in the UK
No I do not have a work visa. I started applying to Deloitte UK on their website itself and got the interview call.
42k EUR sounds really low for Sr Con..if you look at the lower end of salary range for Sr Cons in Deloitte US, it will be somewhere near 100k USD. Given that UK has lower consulting salaries, I would expect them to be paying upwards of 60k EUR (conservative estimate) and even more, depending on experience and skills.
I believed 60k too. However, I have been made aware by internal sources that the bracket for Sconn is 46-53k and 55-78k for manager. I actually wanted to move to States, however, been unable to get a opportunity to interview even though I have the experience.
For year 1 Scon, this is what Deloitte offers in UK. Although post tax, it will not be much. But considering you are bachelor you can go for it. If you think only from money prespective, people will suggest not go there. But think from future opportunities and exposure perspective also. 1500 pound should be enough for your monthly expenses.
I got to know that the bracket for Sconn is 46-53k in Deloitte UK. Is that true? I guess I can make do with that salary however I would want to same some extra as I might shift my family to UK as well hence feeling this to be at a lower range.
For upper side it can go up to 65k for senior Consultant
42k is low
