Try your luck California Correctional Health Care services website and apply at California Health Care Facility Stockton .We have shortage of CNA,LPN and RNs.
It is a Prison Hospital but not scary and attractive pay and benefits. I w am working here as a Licensed Psychologist over 11 years.
I was going to recommend corrections as well. Prison or jail. Most LPN's that I work with in these facilities are med nurses but some do sick call.
I've been an LPN for 4 years now, and this is how I had to start. Skilled nursing will definitely help our experience. Most clinics and hospitals, with the exception of Med-Surg floors, want to see some kind of bedside skill. Keep your head up and persevere for about 6-8 months, then start applying for other places like Assisted Living facilities. I promise it will get better. I work for a private clinic now and couldn't be happier!
Am looking for a visa sponsorship support
As a certified caregiver and nursing assistant job
Am from Nigeria ready to relocate anytime
Please anyone that knows any links or company
Should please help me 🙏🙏

LVN 19 years and unfortunately the job market is not great right now with everything going on. I know the SNF is not your ideal job right now but get your skills down and learn as much as you can. As someone meantioned, you can try Pedi Home Health and see if you like it. Urgent Care hires new grads too.
You need to find a good skilled subacute postacute building that you can work in almost all of them are hiring. You may have to start on night shift prove yourself and then move to a better shift. You also might with an assisted-living just to get some experience under your belt, which will get you a little more higher ability Unfortunately, in this job market today we can’t be picky. I know it seems like they should be training you more on the job, but they don’t that is just a just don’t be afraid to ask questions ask for help if you need it Use your CNA‘s to help knowing your patience. They know them better than anybody in that make sure you have access to a good drug guide to help you with your med me as a new nurse. Your med passes can take anywhere from 3 to 4 hours for just one med let that panic you that is normal. You don’t know the know all the learn all of this stuff on the job is where you learn it and you learn it by fire being thrown into it unfortunately, that’s the nursing world hang in there. You will find a good job. I do agree with some of your other responses that said to continue in school and go get RN. Please don’t stop with your LVN get your RN get your NP move up in this world don’t LVN works just as hard as an RN and they less money.
Don’t give up on your dreams, they belong to you. Medic, CNA,LPN,RNC pathway is worth the journey! The world needs more nurses, not less, Find your niche in nursing, mine is psychiatry ! Do what comes to your intuition, then the money will be there. GOD BLESS!
what state are you in?
Hello; please do not give up hope; unfortunately for many, including myself, it takes many, many aplications before someone is willingly to give you a chance, took me over a year my first time( I've been an LVN OVER 40 years), get a job, any job, retail, etc, that keep your time and options open for interviews, etc, and keep on applying, btw, I've NEVER worked skilled nursing.
Assisted Living is a good opportunity especially if it’s in a facility that has everything. Get your a multi-state license.
Where are you located?
Check for a company called Ro Health. They place new grads in school assignments. Training is provided. And there is always a Clinical Supervisor for questions/concerns/etc. Best company I ever worked at.
Most places want you to have experience, and the best place to get that is in skilled nursing. It sounds like the facility that you're at isn't the best fit for you. You should check out other facilities in your area the workload is usually pretty heavy ( i usually have anywhere between 27-30 patients on AM shift), but you will gain a lot of experience and be able to get more comfortable using your skills.
You should also look into an LVN-RN bridge program. You will have more opportunities once you have an RN license.
Just keep trying. The right job is out there.

That’s the thing how do they expect for you to have experience if they don’t even give you a chance to practice it. Are you from the city where do you reside ?
Have you thought about mental health nursing, addictions/rehab, or correctional nursing? Rewarding career with good pay. What state are you in? I may have some recommendations.
