I have joined as a fresher allocated to random project not on my trained skillset. Not getting any work as of now and my pm informed to me that I will be released but I get no updates from pm or hm or anyone regarding my work updates or another project. Only good thing I was doing in this mean time is to learn other skills thats it. What do you think freshers like us need to do in this situation especially in cognizant.

Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.
