I have just joined a firm and its just 4 months. Out of nowhere my manager comes and checks if i have Performance testing experience. I had none but i told him i can learn. He says he wants me to contribute not only to the work i am doing but also take up performance testing work for other teams. I am okay to learn and work on PT for my team but now i am having two thoughts. Should i take it? And does he perceive me having no work or does it means he finds big opportunities in the firm?
