I have only few more weeks to my LWD. I attended interview for 5 companies all cleared, but only 1 offer in hand, which I am not satisfied with. Others never came back with salary negotiation/confirmation. They just ask the expected CTC and never get back with update. It's a painful wait and demotivating. Do they come back or am I just waiting for nothing? My expectation is not out of the box too. Please suggest?

Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

I work at an manufacturing company as a technician. My job title is a technician but they use me as an engineer as-well. There are three techs overall in the company. My boss who hired me understands what my degree is in so he uses me to design parts and write reports. I was planning to decline a job offer at McKinsey and before I could email he called and asked for final decision and I said I cannot join due to a personal reason, which is the case in reality and just mention I was about to drop an email and apologised for the inconvenience.

He called me unprofessional and said you could have informed. I know I am at fault as well as the offer was released on Monday.

Sort of feeling guilt now, anyways to overcome this?
