I have put in over 350 applications in the last year and all i can seem to get is jobs that are 100% commission. How do i get a job that isn't fast food or sales? I have the the people skills and ace all my interviews. Why is it that im not getting hired? My current job has less than 6 weeks left before we close for over a year and all of us are let go, and I've had no luck.

For all you retail people...are you experiencing a very slow holiday season? I am a retail manager and I feel like this season has been freakishly slow. I thought we would at least match last year's number or be up a little bit but we are trending down. I talked to employees of other stores in the mall and they are saying the same thing.
