I have worked for the same Company going on almost 12 years. I am currently be presented with my First Manager role. Going It Operations to ERP Manager. I have done A LOT research on what the Average ERP Manger makes with experince and got a wage range. The offer that was presented is a % raise of my currently salary. That % raise is 10k lower then the minimum industry stranded for brand new no experience worker. How do approach this without loosing my chance at this promotion I have earned?

I’m interviewing for a marketing manager role at a company based in SF. I’m genuinely excited about the role and the company but we’ve yet to discuss salary. When I negotiated my comp, all my discussions were around me being a junior and I only accepted my comp for that reason (would not have accepted if I was step above junior since it was low). Negotiations happened with HR, but my offer letter and documents never mention junior (but I have proof from HR saying I am a junior).
