I haven’t been on here in a while. Now that I’m looking again. And I have about 10 years experience and in-home sales. I’m awfully disappointed in employers. They post yearly commissions at rates that most of their employees have never hit.
It’s become common practice to hire people on straight commission without telling them that even if they sold a large sale on day one. They will probably not see any commission for two weeks to a month.
I think the word I’m looking for is inconsiderate.

If you practice collections in-house, what do you earn and do you receive a bonus?

I have practiced for five years and make $121k as an employee of a financial services company. As the only attorney, I oversee all statewide collections efforts, from demand letter to garnishment, with a case volume of nearly 7k new cases per year, of which the majority I end up litigating. I receive only a $1k bonus per year. Is my compensation fair? My last insurance defense gig was $75k.

Round or exact numbers on banners/LPs? I was curious about this since in negotiations for example or pricing it's better to have the exact number. But if you have a case study, for example, is it better to say "Client X increased their revenue to 1,000,000 ARR" instead of "Client X increased their revenue to 987,500 ARR" ? Just finished my degree in managerial science and have a minor in marketing and a Sales certificate. Have had 4 different management jobs. Just accepted an opportunity as a district manager for an Insurance company. Not 100% sure about Commission-based only.
