I held WORK (Slack) through the Salesforce Acquisition. I got a cash payout for $26 per stock. But I bought for $30-34. So I lost $8 per stock? And then they gave me CRM (Salesforce) stock, but I don’t know how they calculated the shares. So basically, I should have sold WORK before the acquisition closed?

AT&T: HBO-MAX is probably top 3 stream platforms along with netflix and disney plus. Despite this AT&T trades at a super low multiple. Is this the next glow-up a la Disney this past month? I think so. They've already got an extensive library and have consistently over 20 years delivered the best shows on TV, period. I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.
