Hi Fishes,
Can anyone please give a genuine insight into the frontend developer interview process for experienced candidates in Apple?
Do everyone irrespective of their experience needs to prepare for DSA? Or they just want the frontend developer to be proficient in HTML, CSS and JS just like they mention in JD. And also do they consider people from Tier 3 colleges?
Looking for a new challenge. Interested in a referral into Salesforce. I’m currently a top performing senior Field Sales Executive selling new business subscription and SaaS into the corporate tech vertical. I live in the DMV area. Hit me up if you’d be willing to help with a referral at Salesforce. Thanks!!
Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?
Hi. I would appreciate any advice on this. I have been working in TCS for 3 years in Support domain. I have completed my PGP in Data Science and Business Analytics. I have been trying to get placed in Accenture. I applied last November as a referral to Accenture. However, my resume was rejected. I thought it was because I was not serving notice period and still studying my PGP. However, I have completed my degree now and am looking to switch over. (In comments) Accenture

I get not wanting to spoil their chances, but unless I'm really close with them (and it doesn't sound like you are), I'm not putting my neck and reputation on the line. I'd probably say something a la "we didn't work closely enough for me to form much of an opinion on their abilities" and leave it at that. It takes you off the hook without completely tanking their chances.

Ooh, your suggestion is perfect. Thx!
You can tell HR to proceed with caution. Everyone has their 'red flags' but if they can identify the gaps early, they can set clear expectations and have a better chance at success in the role.

Thanks!
I would be honest. I think people can grow and change as employees, but you don't know if they've put in that work and you don't want your recommendation to come back on you, or the company. Just tell them your honest perspective and let whatever happens, happen.

Thanks!
I don't think there is anything wrong with saying you worked with them X number of years ago and at that time, [fill in the blank]. Then add a positive thing you can say about them and let the hiring manager make the decision. Keep it transparent, but neutral.

Thanks!
Email back saying I’m so sorry. But you really don’t remember working with that person. The name sounds kind of familiar but you just don’t remember them that well. That puts everything back on HR‘s shoulders.

Thanks!

Whew….. if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Neither help nor hinder.

Wait, I’m late, what happened? How did it play out?
