The truck I drive for a dairy transportation company broke down in the middle of nowhere and they told me to "wait" for someone to come help me. It's been 6 hours, the products have a limited shelf-life and I am wasting time by standing here.

There are different insurance services for transportation that take care of these problems, it is common that the employer does not have them but I believe that every day they are more necessary. As a truck driver I know that being stranded, it is not easy to repair a truck when there are major problems, once I was 14 hours in the middle of nowhere, it was very dangerous and from that moment I resigned from the company where I worked.

It is common for accidents to happen, but the ability to solve problems is what makes a freight forwarding company important, I am a transportation logistics manager, I always try to make sure that my trucks are in perfect mechanical condition, and that my drivers are comfortable, at the same time our company has a road insurance with a quick response no more than 2 hours. I believe that with all this we can provide the customer with a complete service.

Hi Folks,

I'm in negotiation with the this data company (which is only 10 % over offered fixed ctc) but HR hasn't shown much confidence. They have asked for week's time & say can only offer a signing bonus. I'm getting a bit nervous as it's an opportunity I've always wanted!

Am I panicking unnecessarily? Should I hold my nerve? Or should I break the logjam and just accept?

PS I had just joined another org because they were taking too long to process + my dream co is only matching current CTC.

It’s very discouraging to continuously receive these rejection emails. With 9 years of supply chain experience, I am not sure why I would not be able to at least get an interview for entry level roles that require no experience. Not just this one pictured but others as well. I’ve applied to maybe 60 positions since May, both mid level and “entry” and no interviews. I’ve had my resume professionally re-written twice. Not sure where the disconnect is. Anyone else going through this same thing?
