I just got married, moved across the country, bought a house, had to started a new job due to relocating, but I am just feeling a bit lost… for my new role I am studying for my FINRA licenses, but my motivation just isn’t there. My timeframe to pass these are quickly approaching and I feel like I’m having a mid-life crisis… I just don’t know if I want this role OR what exactly I want to do next. I know I’m blessed but I’m Feeling a bit lost and don’t know what direction I should go.

I want out of healthcare so badly but as the sole wage earner in my family I cannot afford to start over in an entry level role in a new industry. I am so systemically exhausted I am struggling to translate my current skill-set to market myself into non- healthcare markets. When I say non- healthcare, I truly mean completely NOTHING to do with any direct clinical or patient related/facing anything. Anyone have any worda of wisdom or insight? I’ve been in the banking industry for about 5 years now since I graduated and I feel like this may not be the right industry for me. I have experience in commercial banking and commercial real estate lending. Where do people go after they leave banking? I’m trying to see how I can transfer my skills to another field.

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.
