Hi fishes, I declined the offer from Pwc AC bangalore on July 28th by sending an email to HR, communicated the same to us_pwc_ac_bangalore_recruitment_services@pwc.com. But I keep getting these emails to complete pre-hiring formalities and daily reminders for the same. How can I make them update the status in system? Also are there repercussions of rejecting an offer. I rejected 3 days after acceptance. PwC Pwc AC

You use the analogy of a sinking ship. I just think that you found a lifeboat and you got on it. And you saved yourself from this sinking ship. No reason to go down with the ship. That's not helping anybody. I wish you all the best.
If I had the experience you're describing I'd feel pretty good about moving on. It sounds like there must be some backstory with you and your manager, to the point where she doesn't even care why you're leaving. I don't understand feeling any shame about leaving, it sounds like the situation must have turned toxic some time ago.
I was thinking the same thing. There must be something else. However , your coworkers are adults who have the same option to leave as you did. Perhaps if they're smart , they'll exercise it.
Congratulations! I hope youre not working that last weekend!
I have the opposite perspective on this. It’s your choice to turn in that resignation. If you wanted to talk about the situation, do it before then. I’d rather they just nod and accept it than start asking questions now when my mind is made up.
I know how you feel but honestly you shouldn’t feel the guilt. Getting a job that’s better for you is a huge accomplishment and you should feel proud.

Leaving a long term role can feel emotional even when the move is positive. A big pay increase and new opportunity is a major career step, even if it feels strange at first.
Go !!!! And don’t look back!!!!!!! Best of everything on your new job!!!
