You’ve already taken the first step…
Congratulations
Now be mindful and fully present… Set out to extinguish the McNasty’s from your life and the others who serve you…
You’re still the boss… There are lines that can’t be crossed…
But everyone should treat each other with kindness and respect as often as possible.
Sounds like you’re taking the high road now God bless … And WELCOME 🙏🏻
Prayer…Pray to God about it daily, put it in his hands and watch God work in you and on you.
Were these biting comments the first time you expressed them to a junior or have you noticed yourself giving these types of comments on attorneys’ work building over time? IMO, that matters, but it’s great that you’re trying to address the problem now. For some lawyers, the wake-up call doesn’t happen for 20-30 years.
Most of the partners that I have worked for in Las Vegas have been jerks for no reason.... power tripping i guess.... I had one atty bragging about being known as the firm's hard a$$ & she laughed about it. She wrote me up because I told her about yelling at me.... Her write up, excuse was I need to ask her questionss gthat's important to her basically read her mind.

Recognizing it is good for a step. Check in with yourself and figure out if you were on a power trip, or you're not handling frustrations with specific people very well.
