Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

Yeah the applogy from them isn’t a sincere one as well. Also to ghost companies back, one must be in the position of demand and value to do so. Can’t ghost a girl if already ghosted.

You might feel like you got emotional justice, but I don’t think it’s really making any change. It was so many other candidates they don’t care.

Do what suits you, but don't for a second think you are affecting change, especially in a job market flushed with qualified candidates.
The reality is that recruiter's are swamped with candidates, causing them to have to prioritize certain conversations over others.
I mean, if you get some personal pleasure out of it- it’s fine. In reality they have nothing for you, they don’t think you are right candidate or they are waiting for other candidates to get evaluated first. It could be anything. Or the job itself is dead.
You can blacklist them. I don’t know what that even means. They still have 1000s of candidates to choose from in this market. Why would they care if one person is not going to apply?
In an employee market, people “ghosted” all the time. They would leave the job every other year to get new stocks and take an offer and leave. Or just don’t respond. Remember the “great resignation “ ? I would not overthink this

Right now there are many (hundreds to thousands) of candidates for every open position. We can afford to be picky.

OP sounds childish, and you sound smug.
People job hop because it’s the best way to get raises and advance a career. Loyalty is dead and employers killed it.
I hope you hire based on merit, and not waste candidate’s times with multiple rounds of interviews only to ghost them. A lot of you “director” level and HR folks just take up space and can be replaced by AI.
