Absolutely! Watch out for any place that says “We’re like family here” as well. They’ll usually overwork you, guilt trip you into picking up shifts, give you trouble when if you have to call in sick, etc.

I can’t stand seeing that. In my search, I also keep seeing that “must-have” qualification. It’s ridiculous that we as a society are so “just-in-time” in our lifestyle that we have to grind an 8+ hour day under stress and time commitments and be told we’ll love working there.
But it either means understaffed or literally being overworked while the employer expects still more yet, while hitting unrealistic commitments of deliverables. Daily. Weekly. Monthly. And poof! You’re dead to the world, friends and worse - your family.
So true usually understaffed and overworked!
It’s wise to put that, from a legal perspective, considering how many people I’ve personally seen who lose their mind at work because they can’t handle a little pressure. Easy to fire them when they signed a job description saying they could handle high stress situations.
Remember, a job description is still a legal document, and is vital in certain situations.

Understaffed, multiple tasks as well as selling and customer service, and the usual chaos of customers being mad at you. Essentially, every retail and hospitality job these days.

Could be what that means. Maybe not though, some places are genuinely busy, even if you are fully staffed. That’s the kind of places most people like to work, that’s where the money is
