I know this question can't have a straightforward answer, but in simple terms, what does a good resume look like? I'm currently on month 6 since I got laid off, and I don't think I can go on for too much longer. Something needs to change, and sadly, the only thing I can do is shoot my resume in hopeful directions.

I got an offer to work at a Gensler office, but something has come up and need to move/work in a different city. Can I ask them to transfer me before I accept the offer? Will they do this if there is the same role currently open in the new city?

Am I crazy? I’m considering turning down an offer 3x my current comp in a city I love. I even like the company culture better at the new firm. Downside is the day to day work as they’re different industries. I really can’t see myself doing the work at the new firm long term. I get work is work but this especially leaves me unfulfilled.
