Here, I’m discouraged from direct client contact: I draft all outgoing emails for my bosses, only take notes during client calls, and my supervisor approves everything I do. While I wasn’t told not to contact clients, I know I shouldn’t as I am often asked to draft stuff for my bosses. I’ve only sent 1 external email in months here, compared to 10+ daily before. Is this micromanagement or just mgmt. style?

Not receiving a ton of support from my local office. Can I get staffed on an ITS project before making the transfer to get “my foot in the door,” or is that not a thing? I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?

I have been giving a few interviews lately and every Company is asking me to confirm if i can get my NP reduced from 90 Days to 45 or 60 Days. I'm still under probation but assigned to a Project already. Should I ask my Account Manager and HR about it or its unethical to do so. Am i making a mistake to ask and confirm about NP even before my offer letter or its ok to just enquire what's the process and possibility to reduce NP as we have buyout option too.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .

Been 3 months since I joined Luxoft and I am assigned to a backward DXC project. The lead is oppressive and bossy. There is no work-life balance and 9:30 hours of work is not enough for them.
