The best solution is the free one: talk… to… your… roommate

Have you tried a white noise machine? Used to live in a house with loud/squeaky doors and stairs and roommates either woke up early or went to bed late… white noise machine helped a lot.

Foam ear plugs. They block out a lot.

Yes I can. I use the alarm on my iPhone, have the volume on high. I wake up immediately when it goes off. If you have someone sharing your bed who does NOT wear earplugs then the high volume may give them a heart attack… just be warned.
Can’t you ask her to not slam the door? If it’s creaking, get some WD40
Yeah maybe she could make it quieter and has no clue she’s waking you up? I wouldn’t be offended if a roommate brought this up to me.
Removing her door from the hinges would 💯 % solve the noise problem

Talk to your roommate. Most problems can be resolved by communication.
Oil the hinges?
The hinges aren't squeaky. The problem is how loud the door sort of slams when closing, just cause it doesn't fit right or something.
1. You can have someone come out and adjust the door in the frame so it won’t slam - handyman. They may need to shave door a little bit 2. You could ask them not to close their door, like hey can you let it hang open and I’ll close it when I wake up

Just sleep with the fan on. The white noise should help.
Fan already on unfortunately, cause I'm hot anyway

Get a sound machine
But idk if they specifically work if I'm putting them on the side of the door that's INSIDE my room when the sound is coming from the hallways OUTSIDE my room. Also, high frequency blockage would help cause some of that (spoons tinking) comes through too.

Thin foam strips along the inner frame where the door touches the frame. When you first install them, she might have to “mash” the door to get it to close fully, but after a week the strips will compress and it’ll be fine.
Her door. It makes a huge difference.
This video illustrates how it’s done. Small mini-pads were used instead of strips. Either kind works.

How early does she leave for work?
6:30 AM. There's also someone else in the house who leaves at 5 AM that I seem to wake up to.
Put foam pads (the kind for furniture legs) on the part of her door that touches the door frame to quiet the door itself.
How long have you lived there? This honestly is something you should just get used to after a little bit.
I wake up every time. The problem is that the noise is sudden so while I've gotten used to the sleep loss I want to just stop losing sleep. Cause you know.... Health reasons.
Wd40 on hinges and latch.
Make sure the hinge screws are tight. And that it’s not rubbing on the frame.
My roommate does the same. Door is next to mine and they always lock the door. Always. And that stupid locking and unlocking sound always wakes me up. No clue why he locks the door
Say something to him. Duh?

She has her own exit? Why is it her door? If she does, just ask her to use the quieter communal exit door instead.
Play white noise in the background while you’re sleeping. Youtube has videos with various white noise options that play for 10 hours. If you play it loud enough it should help mute out the door being closed
Noise machine, fan, air purifier, cell phone app for noise machine. Plenty of noise options that would drown out other sounds. I can’t sleep without these things.
Air purifier FTW! I use to never be able to sleep on the weekends bc the kitchen noise from my spouse and kids…..got an air purifier off Amazon for seasonal allergies and I was shocked when I was able to sleep all morning 🎉
Spray it with DW-40.
