I am ready to transition my Salesmen to a base salary with commission to incentivize new hires & reward my long term guys. My industry is aftermarket auto parts. I am leaning towards a 2% commission but am flexible and just need help in figuring out salaries.

Is it just me or with the rise of attacks on "essential workers", it's scary nowadays to work a public-facing job? I've seen so many videos of workers getting attacked for doing their job, some of them have even lost their lives.

Hi All, what should be the years of experience to get Software engineer II A designation in Bank of America ?

I can’t help but feel stuck in my career. I’m a licensed attorney in another country, but been working as a law clerk in a firm for about a year now. I was hoping to take the NY bar in February but the foreign law graduate restrictions won’t allow. Now, I have to wait till July! I can’t help but feel this way, and as much as I love my company, I’m beginning to dislike the role. Maybe it’s an ‘ego’ thing? Anyone ever been in this position? How did you get over it?

I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses . So not only is this a new experience for me going into such a large company but also a industry (semiconductors). Got hired as a digital strategy consultant. I have over 10 years of industry experience but I’m new to consulting. What courses, workshops or books would you recommend to build a solid toolkit?

I tried asking this in my own bowl with no responses, so seeing if other consultants have run into this situation. I’m on parental leave, I got an offer for another firm, great opportunity and pay. How does one go about a resignation mid-leave when you would start the new job before the leave ends? Two weeks notice or just say I am not returning effective the day of the new job? Any things to consider besides potentially repaying the employer healthcare premium?

Has anyone ever taken short-term disability for an arm injury (e.g., broken hand, torn rotator cuff, etc.)?
