You might benefit more from an executive coach than a mentor. Your ask seems less about how to get to the next level and more about how to advocate for yourself and what you really want.
Also if you’re in your 40s it might help you make up for “lost” time.
You’re in luck! This is kind of a mentoring network. People have met people and made friends here.
This is my opinion:
To start, I’d recommend you ask these questions individually and start building your knowledge that way. Vs throwing everything in one big overwhelming post where we don’t know where to start.
Break it up: “Anyone considers their manager as a mentor?”
“Has it been fruitful to expand skills from copywriting to UX, content strategy, etc?”
Also mentorship is like dating. So to maximize the performance of your needs, I wouldn’t start a date with “I need to get married. I dated all my life and my dates weren’t great.” Ya know?
Finding a mentor means this mentor needs to take time off their life (and partner and children) to spend time with you. That’s why it’s hard to find a mentor. My mentors are people I have proven myself to, satisfied them in a way, before they opened their life to me. Some were former bosses, others were people who were impressed by a project I did. It’s hard to find a mentor with zero credentials off the bat.
I would also look at peer mentorship. Anyone you respect who is at your level? Barter your skills and support. I also have a support group where we share weekly on a whatsapp group a “rose - bud - thorn” (good news - upcoming good news - challenge). They have been way more available and effective than a classic mentor.

You bring up a salient point. Being a working parent myself, I’m extremely sensitive to asking things of people that require their time. Maybe to a fault. This is why I was wondering if there’s a more formal organization of people who actively volunteer to do this.
That said, thank you for your suggestions. You’ve given me a lot to think about. Like how did you come upon this support group? Was it organic?
Based on my experience interacting with mentors career coaches, this business demands more than a generalist. Find someone who invests in learning about you and giving you something useful before you ever sign up. For example, Job Propulsion Lab has a free, brutally honest career critique that digs pretty deep.
...where to take things or how to leverage my bonus skills from a negotiation standpoint. I’m given a lot of autonomy right now to craft my job as I see fit, and I’m key in winning work so I’m quite happy where I am, but I’m also afraid to have this conversation with my manager. I also just don’t think they have the background to advise me well as to where I should go from here. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.
