Hi All - I’m at a firm that has some infrequent in-house training but not enough to help me develop skills to eventually become a trial lawyer. I know cases rarely make it to trial anymore, but I’d like to develop my skills as much as possible to position myself well when they do. Taking some golf lessons, got a women’s starter set I got to make sure I liked golf first. Instructor mentioned that the driver is like swinging a wet noodle for me lol and I should look into a men’s or one with stiffer flex. I have no idea what to look for. Are the people at Dicks Sporting Goods knowledgeable or worth driving the 40 min to PGA store?

Stopped by PGA store and found out I need 1” long clubs, so I returned my set and am on the lookout for new clubs. Any advice for 1” long beginner sets?
