If you just quit, why worry about going back right away? I would focus on moving on. Even if you go back one day, I'm guessing what really happened is in the documentation and HR will see that.

That’s really tough, especially since you enjoyed the job. First, it might help to calmly reach out to HR or a higher-up at the company to clarify what happened. Explain your side, emphasize that you left voluntarily, and ask for a chance to clear your reputation. If possible, get documentation or witness support from former colleagues. It’s important to keep things professional and factual. You might not be able to change that boss’s behavior, but you can work on restoring trust with the organization.
