Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Listen to it and ask for time to consider it. Then let them down. Why burn a bridge you don’t have to or assume you know what you don’t? (mind you, I know less about the situation than you do obviously so take that opinion for what it’s worth).
Thank you
Absolutely agree with the above comment. Always take time to really weigh in on your options AFTER you have both offers in writing.
You may change your mind about Company A later, or they may pull back the offer. Always keep your options open and once you decide, decline politely and humbly.
The importance of remaining professional at all time. You never who you will cross path again in the future. You maybe surprised about what they can offer? take time to weigh the different offers and see what fits better for you. Good luck 🤞🏼
Kepted the zoom meeting. Thank you for all the feedback. I really wasn’t sure which was the more professional route (to say no and save the agency time, or hear it out) but listening to the advice given here and meeting with the team it was clear this was the more professional way to handle the offer. Thanks again—having never been in this situation I truly had no idea about decorum.
Thanks for the update and glad it worked out. All the best to you.
