Many opportunities in corporate strategy & business dev. At least here in Europe, MBA does not seem to be a requirement.

like

PhD here. Haven’t seriously looked. But have been approached by recruiters for VC and industry

Really C1? That’s disappointing to hear that it’s difficult to find exit ops for JDs even from an MBB. I also have a JD and am trying to leave, but it’s been tough to find anything

My engineering PhD was of big help in attracting tech startup opportunities.

BCG2 where did you look for such opportunities? I’m interested in tech startups as well

Any interview tips for Project Manager roles in software development? I was moved to this role about 2 years ago and soon looking to jump to another company, but unsure of what to focus on talking about. I’ve tested the waters and the feedback from one interviewer who was generous enough to provide it was that I made myself sound like a technologist rather than a PM because I was too focused on the product and it’s details instead of the project management details.

I have been looking at the curriculums for Harvard Business School's Master of Business Administration and Harvard Extension School's Master's in Management. They both have the same requirements, generally speaking, including a field immersion course that serves as a capstone in the Master's in Management, which is fairly new. If I am not able to gain admission to Harvard Business School, but wanted a similar educational experience to become a consultant, should I attend Harvard Extension?

Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

What do you think?

A friend is considering deferring an offer (stem PhD) for 1 year straight out of undergrad to work in NY, either in a research institution or a biotech.
