I received a job offer (new grad) from Intel Corporation. Im on F1 visa, and I have applied for initial EAD last week (start date early September). However, during the interview, HM said they were looking for someone around mid August(didn't seem to be urgent requirement imo). Is Intel flexible with start dates? The recruiter said immigration team would get in touch with me soon, to discuss start date (taking my preference into account). Is Intel flexible with delaying start date by 3-4 weeks?

Hour long first round interview with a MM consultant friendly PE firm next week — should I expect a model? Or are they likely to fill that hour primarily with behavioral and random technical questions?

So I work for a small company as a SEM/Director… which in my world just means I am really Lead Developer, Part BA and part product owner as well as reviewing the devs. I came up in this company starting at about SE3 of 5 so the position is just kind of what I made it. Why does QA have such a bad rep?

I know this sounds weird, but I think my fiancé has my tech tapped… I journal and write short stories that I’ve used as an outlet for years. Way before I met him. Lately, it feels like he repeats things that I’ve written or said over the phone. For example, I’ll tell a friend that I want to visit her in San Diego. Then, he’ll come home and say I should visit my friend in San Diego soon. Am I paranoid or is he really listening? I feel violated and exposed. He doesn’t have a tech background.
