I recently accepted the offer letter from a good service based mnc and joining date is by next few days.

My background check is going on & there are some title/designation discrepancies. I changed a title in releiving letter to better fit the job and to make my resume more appealing. Has anyone ever experienced any problems like this?
I mean will it be caught in BGV and how vulnerable it could be?
Shall I rectify it by talking to HR or just let it be.

How can entry-level candidates stand out during the interview process?

I stand firm on not wasting my time applying for a job that doesn't post the salary with the job description, anyone else do this? Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to.
