I recently applied for the Hilton Amex Surpass (pre-approved) and got a pop up saying I am not eligible for the welcome bonus. I haven’t had that card before or neither did I apply previously - what could be the reason of not being eligible for welcome bonus?

I’m an early startup having raised a bit of money from family and friends to help grow my business. Time is moving fast and I’m potties I won’t hit my targets and being the return back to those who invested.
Once I have used the money that’s been invested there’s no way of seeing it again and still bringing the return quick enough.

The numbers still show it’s possible, I still believe in the concept and I’m still growing, I think I just have some imposter syndrome.

Any advice?
