Bain & Company I recently got feedback on an MBB interview that basically said while I was a good candidate, the interviewer would have appreciated if I was a little bit more analytical in my approach.

I haven’t been able to get additional information on what exactly they meant but would appreciate if anyone can offer their thoughts on what this means and how to do just that during a case interview.

My total experience is 5 in QA, I attended Deloitte interview. First round was technical and it went quite well, they asked lot of theory questions. I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience. One query, I have received an offer letter from Wipro (Career Group: C1) with package of 28 LPA, out of which INR 420000 is allocated as 'Variable Pay' which will be paid on quarterly basis'. M/SM and above, why do you label a meeting as “touch point” or ask if you can have a “quick chat” when it’s something serious? Millennials like us always assume we’re about to get fired - I actually have been laid off in a meeting with that title. But at my new job, my boss asked for a “quick chat” to literally ask me to change the title of a meeting and then chat about christmas. Now that I’m in management, I want to understand it better.

Anyone a manager? I’m recently diagnosed (26F) and I can’t help but beat myself up everytime I fall short of my to do list. Makes me feel like a huge disservice to my team. Experience hire applied via referral 10 days ago. How much time does it take to hear back after the pymetrics at BCG?

Does Boston Consulting have an M&A and Private Equity Practice? Based on company webpage this is not quite clear…perhaps it is not a main focus as it is with, perhaps, Bain? Or the competencies are integrated within the practices of BCG?

I applied to an experienced consultant position at Bain and just heard back. Yesterday, I received an invite to a HireVue one-way interview to complete. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes. Can anybody offer some insight into each of these/the process?

For folks starting at BCG (experienced hires) in August, is there any indication as to what the first week(s) of orientation and training is like? I.e., remote vs in-person (if in-person, which city), etc.
My SO is convinced she can’t make our weekend plans due to these trainings ..
