I started at an EMS Billing company over one year ago. My title is project manager and I came in to this role with no experience in this area. I quickly exceeded expectations and received a small raise for my performance(45k to 58k). Because I grew the project so much I needed additional help to stay on top of the work load so the company approved the hire of two additional employees that report directly to me. Should I be compensated more for managing this project along with two employees?

When I moved in-house a year ago as a BigLaw mid-level, I took a 45% pay cut, far more than I was comfortable with (although I was fine with a 20-30% cut).
