I think I’m being set up for failure at my current gig. Outside of the obvious, what should I do for the next few months? I don’t want to go above my manager, but I don’t feel like I have a choice. Hi friends, I am reading this book ‘radical cander’ and was wondering if you have Fav way/ example of receiving and giving tough feedback? Or have any stories about feedback that have stuck with you through your career.

Does anyone else feel like people who are generally nice in person and on calls sound mean or stand-offish in emails and text/chat? I get that over-use of friendliness in text can come off as green/immature, but I tend to try and cushion my words with positivity or even exclamation marks/the occasional emoji to show that I don't sound completely unemotional.

Or maybe i'm just an overthinking copywriter who's reading into it too much.
