I want to accept an offer from big4 in hopes of joining them IF my current workplace (tiny startup) doesn’t increase my current comp. I also wanna accept to use that to leverage a potential full time offer from another contract consulting position. Its not definite but I’m hoping bringing up this one will accelerate it.
Is it unethical to accept an offer and undo it a couple of weeks before your start date? Don’t want to burn any bridges. The people are great everywhere.

Need suggestion. Got an offer with a product company A through referrel with just 70% hike. They initially told me to not look for any offer as it is a referral.
