I would hold till 4/15.

I do not enjoy my current firm... But I want to leave on good terms since it’s a small world. I will do 4/15 then. No plan to show up on the holiday party at all.
Are you considering giving notice before you leave? I would not treat it like a hostage situation.
If you have an offer lined up, then I would consider you are likely to leave on better terms than otherwise if you give advanced notice and help transition any incomplete work. That said, either date is likely not going to make a difference. Although 4/15 gets an edge on optics.
If you prefer 4/10 then do 4/10. You’ll be forgotten in a week. Do what you want.
I would stay u til 4/15 unless you are really sure nobody will miss you from 4/10 - 4/15
The correct answer is, notice on 4/3 to leave by 4/17
Get through those 5 extra days, get paid the 4/16 and 4/17 for basically having a pulse
Agree with the 17th and end of season wrap up. I'm sure people will be happy to know you want to decompress with them and also celebrate your next chapter.
Think about what’s best for you, give your notice and acknowledge that the timing while inconvenient is what works best for your transition. Be gratitude and say thanks for the opportunity etc
