“New ECD just didn’t like me.”
This makes sense for a layoff, not a firing. I think you’ve left out a bit of the story. What do you think they didn’t like about you?
The holding company only knows whether you were fired, laid off, or resigned. They wouldn’t have details of why.
But keep in mind, wherever you interview, someone there will ask anyone they know at your last agency, “what do you think of OP?”
This happens every time, and I’ve seen a lot of candidates get crossed off the list because they have a shady past If you did nothing wrong, you’ll be fine
@CW - it shouldn’t. The separate agencies don’t talk to each other much at the HR level.
When I was let go they said they’d never share that I was fired and would only confirm the dates I worked there I’d asked. I just don’t know if this is different for agencies that share a holding co
