I was laid off last June. I decided to finish my MBA by going to school full time before returning to work. I was only able to go part time when I worked 50+ hours a week. I had NO idea that I would have such a hard time finding a new job or I would have started applying right away! I have a Secret Government clearance, 5 years of experience in gov contracting, over 15 years combined business experience, and now an MBA. I’ve literally applied to hundreds of jobs. I’m so discouraged.

Got a verbal offer from Grant Thornton. The recruiter told me that they would get the paperwork over by Thursday or Friday. I mentioned that I am strongly considering the firm however I have other companies that I am also considering so I will be making my decision based on that.
