No. My company just expanded my role without any raise at all.
Be very wary of something like that. These promotions without a raise are a trap, and they can mess up your earnings long term. If you stay with the same organization for any length of time, you'll be falling behind on the pay scale. It's like having a savings account that stops compounding.

It’s a tricky situation. Don’t take the opportunity and you get passed up. Take with the tiny raise and you fall behind. I would try to do a little research on similar roles and gather salary data. Glassdoor is a great resource.

"Stretch opportunity" is corporate-speak for "we want Director-level work at Coordinator-level pay." Sometimes it pays off—if you get the better title, meaningful scope, and can leverage it for a 20-30% jump at your next company in 12-18 months.
But if it's just more work with no title change? You're getting played. The "experience" rarely translates to higher offers without the title backing it up.
What's the actual raise percentage, and are you getting a title promotion or just added responsibilities?
