USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Barely halfway through the race! I am coming to realize that I shouldn’t put off life until retirement. When/if that time comes, I’ll be grateful, but I want to make sure I also do things in the meantime.
Definitely! Tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone. Take the trip, eat the cake, enjoy your life.
Nope life is short. I like to live in the now. Everyone always want's the next best thing.
I'm living in the now, but I can also see how I'll have more time for my interest when I no longer have to work full-time. But yes, I take the trip and eat the cake now too!
I'm in my mid-30s and realizing retirement may not even be possible for me if things keep going the way they have been. I am beginning to switch my mindset to finding ways to be happy and at peace with my life in the present, not have to wait until my 60s for enjoyment.
Yes, hopefully you have a long life ahead of you. Don't wait to enjoy it! Get the most out of every stage of life.
What do you envy the most?
Most People either never retire or retire at 62+. I’ve worked with some that retired in their 50s. If one’s blessed with good health and longevity, you need passions & hobbies to fill the time to be happy. It’s mostly about saving & investing early so one has the choice to walk away from income producing work by having saved successfully to cover expenses adequately.
I’m 51. I could retire but enjoy working. I’m planning to move from full time to part time to allow more time for grandchildren, more travel, and other interest.
I'm 60, so the end of full time work is not far off for me. I also have several side gigs and many friends and interests. My envy is mostly about having more time to do the things I already do and love, including my side gigs.
i'm about 18 months out. can't wait
Yes!! Good for you!!!
Just retired 11-21....its great
Turning off the urge to snoop will be tough! Hope you find something, if that's what you truly want.
