I work at Big4 TAS Germany,with a great team and a nice role that I enjoy. Nevertheless, I very often feel underpaid and at the moment the market seems quite hot and it would be possible to change to IB. Anyone has views on Big4 TAS vs Small local IB Boutiques (IEG, Case, Contor). Money is definitely better but I am afraid that the lack of name recognition may hinder my exit opps long term.

An offer HSBC is in pipeline ( 28 fixed as per Recruitment consultant). Position offered is Senior consultant specialist.
However I know that there is scope of pushing the offer till 36. Any inputs on getting the offer to desired figure would be helpful.

I currently make 78k at Lockheed but I’m not doing what I’d like to be doing and i felt stuck and after many conversations with my manager and no solution in sight, I started applying elsewhere. As a first time PM at a company with no PM structure, I’m finding it difficult to learn good practices and bring myself to “the next level”. Has anyone here had a similar self taught start that made the break through to become a solid senior PM? Anything will help, books, etc.

An agency I freelance for wants to hire me full-time. They told me for a Sr Copywriter, 100-110k. I countered with 125-150.

I also said I'm interested in a higher-level title - I currently freelance as a Creative Director of Copy elsewhere (they don't have that title at this agency.)

They came back and said yes to the title and to 125, with a 6 month review that could raise it to 145.

Which is good for Sr Copy, but low for CD/ACD level. Don't want to screw myself over. What to say now?
