I work in middle & back office finance as a project manager for 5 years (post-MBA), with a brief stint in client services (asset managers). Last year I transferred into a new PM role in a new but promising division. The role was to help org transformation, establishing controls and procedures, etc. I am mid-level mgmt.

The problem is that I haven't been assigned a new project in two months. I've asked for work and offered my assistance to others. Am I being quiet fired?

I would like to add I've always met or exceed performance expectations. I don't have a single negative note in my HR file. In the meantime I've been taking non-stop trainings (learning Agile for example and other key areas of my industry) but I'm starting to get frustrated. I work in France but I am an immigrant thus it can be tricky to simply change jobs. I was looking at our competitors but roles as "project manager" doesn't pop up often. Any other titles I should be looking for? Many thanks

New to US. Which brokers offer best margin accounts? For e.g. I have equities worth $100K and want to trade options. Is there a broker where I can do so without paying more in collateral money - essentially using stocks as collateral, and also not paying margin interest. Was able to do so in London, Hong Kong, and India. However, Robinhood here doesn’t seem to allow it.

Looking to pivot my career into project management from property management and current role finance “sales”. I took a project management course back in 2017 in college. We had a final assignment where I had to write up a business charter including time, scope, budget. Also created a WBS and Gantt chart. Since I really have no other PM experience, should I post my assignment to my LinkedIn page? Will recruiters actually see the projects that we post?

Has anyone completed the Google PM certification? If so, did you find it to be beneficial to your PM career path?
I’m looking to pivot from Finance to Proj Mgmt and currently working through the Google course in order to sit for the CAPM. My only PM experience comes from stepping in on accounts I manage, where there is no PM presence. That means, most of those tasks were related to the budget and scoping, not necessarily execution. Is this enough to land a PM role?
