Hi fellow creatives! I’m looking for any and all kinds of creative people to participate in a research study!
www.creativitystudy.com
I’m a creativity researcher working on my dissertation on the psychology & neuroscience of creativity. I’m interested in understanding how different types of creative careers, side hustles, and artistic outlets relate to our emotions, mental health, & well-being. Ultimately to help build awareness, resources, & improve the lives of creative people.

I just had a claim paid with the CSP due to this exact scenario so I would assume you’re good on the CSR
Also curious how this went. I have my old Corp codes from a job ago, that has no protection, but better rates than I get with free upgrades at presidents circle.
Always been worried if CapOne X’s primary insurance would cover if using a Corp code that isn’t authorized any longer.
My understanding with Avis Accenture rate is that you can go through credit card OR Accenture first. Preferable to go Accenture because they’ll manage it for you and you can charge overages to credit card.
So for your situation you can use credit card, shouldn’t be an issue
If my understanding is correct, this is a really bad idea..
CC companies typically offer secondary insurance (outside of the Venture spark, I believe). Secondary insurance only kicks in once you file a claim with the primary, which you obviously would not be able to do because the primary insurance would be a part of the contract negotiated by the company in question. Also, secondary coverage does not include liability coverage, meaning you’re on the hook for anything that happens to the other car (in a multi car accident).
Just pay the extra and get the peace of mind IMO
Interesting, didn’t know that. Thanks for enlightening
This is an odd situation, but I feel like you’ll probably be alright. Obviously just be extra careful in case.
Not entirely analogous, but the typical view point people have in using an unauthorized code for hotels is that you should just be ready to pay the rack rate if all goes south. My only concern here would be if the negotiated rate includes insurance, and what happens if you file a claim through the CSR and they get notified.
