I feel undatable when I don't travel, so at least while traveling I have a somewhat valid excuse.
If it's someone worth being with, they will understand and you will make it work like texting/emailing/calling/FaceTime each other when you can. You can build a relationship that way. When I first started dating my now husband, he was in the military and deployed overseas for 7 months. We were on complete opposite schedules as he was on the other side of the world. We got to know each other better while through emails and FB msgs.
Now you understand why working at the client is important to develop relationships, with clients :)

find someone who also prioritizes the things you do (if thats work for you, find another workaholic). the problems come up when people prioritize different things and resent their partner for not wanting the same things they do.
Quit
Date a client. Problem solved. Long term project potential and can be with them every week.
Find anothet busy professional to date. My SO is a doctor with as little time at home as I have. He respects me for my career accomplishments and choices, as well as for who I am. You can find someone suitable, too!
Doing it as single mom with toddler. Seems impossible.
