If I want to leave consulting for a junior data sci/data analyst role what should I know and at what level of proficiency? Should I be writing custom models in python or just be able to do some kaggle

Seeking advice: I am a young sales consultant and sales engineer working for a tech startup company. I have 6 years of sales experience. And I have been helping run my family business for the past 10 years. I was intially interviewed for a senior account executive position at a $70k offer. Instead they told me I needed more training and hired me as a Junior account executive at a $50k salary + commission. Today is my 6th month mark and I have done very well. And no talks of a promotion / raise..

After you are stealth laid off, other than job search, what do you do? I assume they won’t give you work and even if they do, you can politely decline? How do you feel about you are not progressing anymore and seeing other people progressing in their career? I have no intention to make partner, but still feel a bit stuck not doing that much.

Throwing this out there. My company was recently acquired and I was laid off yesterday. I’m currently 6m pregnant so looking for a company that isn’t going to have a problem with my giving birth in 3m (looking for a miracle). 13 YOE in Marketing (Brand, Digital, Product, Ops). My speciality is Data analytics and BI (Qlikview, Tableau). 1) How likely I can get a gig from the US? 2) if a job looking for a remote 2-3 months contract do they care what country I'm in? 3) how can I compete Indian rates as I'm in Europe 60-70$ per hour as a BI consultant is a good rate but I see online rates as low 10$😫?
