If my goal eventually is to work in SCM, will warehouse experience help my resume?

Which ATS application portals will you not even apply to a job through?
I see Taleo and completely ignore the job and company until they switch to greenhouse or at least workday.

I recently interviewed for a job and they said they have more interviews and will let me know when the decision is made. It has been 2 weeks now. Is it safe to say they took a pass? Do you think it’s too soon to reach out and see what’s going on?

I went through all the stages of interviewing with a firm then they chose not to fill the position. They said internal priorities changed. I saw about 5 months later they posted a similar position. Guess who has another interview!

If you see an open job posting at a company you want to work for, what steps do you take to apply? I’ve been told that cold applying and making no contacts is usually not going to lead to anything, and that’s been true in my experience. But should I reach out to someone first? Should i apply and then email someone? In HR? Or someone who’d be directly supervising me? Or someone at my level? And what should i say? Thanks!
