If you already told an agency you’d pass on an interview/offer, is there any way you can take it back?

Hi fishes, joined wipro recently with 13 yrs of exp but here the first step is to complete coding test.. is it mandate for all or depends on the project.. any idea how complex it will be ?

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

Anyone went for L1 blanket visa interview in India recently? Experience? Also, it seems L1 blanket is handled only in Chennai but consulate website says only Delhi is open and handling L1 as well not clear if that is only individual or blanket as well. Any insights? TIA

Got laid off for the first time in my career 3 weeks ago. I have 10 years of PM experience (mostly ecommerce & experimentation). I was fortunate in the past to have had recruiters scout me directly so this is the first time in over a decade that I am applying to everything that I’m qualified for, mostly qualified for, and way over qualified for with zero leads. Only 3 interviews thus far that didn’t go forward.

Why does the recruiting process after passing all interviews stall? We are at a standstill in salary negotiations and I am losing momentum joining? Common problem?

Recruiters, is it frowned upon for candidates to reach out to you on DM on Linkedin? Or does it show that they’re more interested than just submitting an application?

What types of questions do you like to ask candidates during your first initial conversation with them?

Had my virtual on-site for an S&O L3 role 3.5 weeks ago (NYC, 5 YOE). I haven’t heard back on a decision yet, and was wondering how long it typically takes? I also know that I was one of the very first candidates to interview for this specific role, and there are atleast 2 more people scheduled for onsites. My parents got divorced 6 years ago and my dad kinda gave up on life. His American dream was to graduate with an actuary degree (which he did 2 years ago) and find a corporate job but it never happened...He gave up on life to a point that has no food and is behind rent because he doesn't want to get a $15 an hour job or a maintenance/painting job. He doesn't do drugs or alcohol and my wife is going to kill me if she finds out again that I gave him money again.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
