If you are leaving for a role as a Principle / Junior Partner, would you expect 2x your current comp to justify opportunity cost? At what % increase in base and total did people leave for?

Working on a long term brand platform, which had the potential to be a really stellar, powerful body of work.

Sadly, it's being driven into the ground so hard by stakeholders that I have no love left for it. It's slowly becoming an embarrassment.

How do you go about this? Do you just swallow your pride and just take the paycheck? Try to fight for it tooth and nail while you still can?

There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me.
