If you don’t think our new president is managing to dismantle all the stability of our economy as he destroys the government’s literal governance structure, I’d say you got another think coming… there is such a thing as too much too fast. Scorch and burn approach could destroy everything we take for granted in our privileged place in the world. All because one person believes his opinions to be superior than all the data and evidence in the world. He’s the archetype of the worst client ever.

Trump is doing exactly what we elected him to do. And it is glorious. They need to go faster.

The crazy thing now is people are happy to accept losses bc they believe the rhetoric that this is all to “slow down the economy “ which will be better for the U.S. What? high cost of raw materials + high COL + intentional and increasing unemployment + damaging relationships with neighboring countries and global powers. That’s slowing the country to collapse. Classic drinking from the koolaid

Agree with all of the above. It’s the stability I’m concerned about. Trust with the market is won in raindrops, lost in buckets. I understand that market reactions are myopic, but there’s a lot of “questioning everything” that puts a lot of our regular indicators in a weird place — especially trade indicators. And as you pointed out, most of our regular indicators have been completely distorted for years now. Commodity volumes and manufacturing down, yet prices have been up. It’s all “fake” growth to begin with. Inverted yield curve hung around under our noses for quite a while yet people never really “saw” those red flags. Trump also seems to believe that markets are too sensitive — may be true, but I don’t think this is the best way to test that theory. 🤣 January’s historically a tough time for markets anyway. There’s just no plan or story to align anybody to, and I anticipate that will keep us moving sideways / erratically for quite a while.

another thing* coming mate, credibility lost

You’re not the only one who learned this incorrectly. “Another thing coming” is an incorrect eggcorn of “another think coming.” Quick Google will show you that. No credibility lost here.

When I read posts here, I see an unprecedented level of sophisticated mental gymnastics. Allow me to clarify for those struggling here: that moron only cares about himself, not you. You are thinking that the King is playing nine dimensional chess. It’s more like he is eating the chess pieces and crapping it out, and you all are thinking it’s some charming exotic civet coffee beans.

Wake the f up and smell the Dunkin coffee.

Hi Team,

I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

I have been approached with an opportunity at JP Morgan Chase for their private client advisor role. The book is about 30M all in. I am currently an experienced hybrid asset manager wholesaler and have experience in advising as well. Curious about the opportunity with JPM and if it’s worth it. I currently make about 160k and if JPM would give me a high draw for the first 3 years to build, and if it’s feasible to sustain that 160+ there.
