Hi there, I have 3.5 YOE working for NHS Finance. I applied to Deloitte Risk Advisory, Public Sector (London, UK) and was successful. Waiting to hear back with package offer but it’s been over 2 weeks - was told they may offer M2 grade, any ideas what this is?

If you have access to healthcare benefits through your spouse and are ok with being in a contract role, then go for it.
I am currently in a contract role but still getting used to not having a 401k match

My inclination would be to go for the full time role just because contractors don't get benefits. And that can really matter, of course. And generally speaking, full time employees just have more stability.

Based on your description here I would go contract. I prefer contract for all the flexibility and freedom, but normally feel stressed because the contracts will be for like 3 months at a time and then you have to re-sign something or find something new entirely. A year contract seems like a great gig, and with that much more salary, I'd definitely take that!
