Imagine providing exceptional customer support, going above and beyond and yet the customer/client complained? Yep, those days are the worst.

I'm sorry for you, friend. It can feel awful when we're doing our best and a client can't see that. Best of luck the rest of the week!

Why did the customer complain? Maybe by understanding this you can figure out how to navigate these client relations in the future. I've been at this job for 5 years and still learning every day.

Dude. I don't have to imagine it, this is literally every day for me. There are people in the world who will never be satisfied no matter what you try to do in order to help them.

The entitlement seems never ending :/

I certainly hope your manager is better than mine; she always sides with the customer even when there is absolutely no reason for them to complain. Then she gives them a discount, which just perpetuates the cycle of abuse.

People love complaining, it is like they think we will change all of our store's policies just for THEM. It's seriously annoying. So I'm always sweet as pie to them in person but talk with the store employee later to affirm that I like working with them and they are doing a good job. It really shakes them up if they are brand new and someone complains

This seems to be happening more and more often to me. It seems like some people just want to be miserable no matter the consequences to other people.

Hey all, 3rd party recruiter reached out to me about a job. We had interview which I think went well. I did not give my salary expectations, but the recruiter provided the hiring budget.

After sending resume, I am now being asked my current income. Seems expectation is ~20-25% comp increase when you change companies. Effectively it would be a promotion, but the budget would be significantly more than 25%.

Do I inflate my current comp? My wife said she had to find a paystub for her job.
